The flexible floor plans of the building, which is slated for completion by 2024, can be adapted to the space requirements of incoming occupiers. Units ranging from about 140 sqm to about 530 sqm lend themselves to diverse work concepts, such as home base, dialogue space, focus box, single- and double offices, think tank, social areas, or whatever the occupier has in mind. The interior fit-out concept includes materials like wood, glass, natural stone and untreated surfaces.

Excellent Transport Links for Commuters and Business Travellers

The building complex is being developed in a prominent inner-city location in direct proximity to Magdeburg’s central railway station, historic town centre and the Elbe river front. The railway station, which lies within easy walking distance, is frequented by trams, regional trains and buses with services in all directions. Driving time to the nearest entrance slip road to the A2/A14 motorways is about 8 minutes. The underground car park and surface areas around the building are earmarked for car and bicycle parking.

A Tradition of Innovation: Magdeburg’s Economy is Booming

Magdeburg counts among the oldest industrial centres of Germany, and benefits to this day from its location at the intersection of major trade routes. In addition to logistics, important industries include the areas of circular economy, green technology and mechanical engineering but also the creative media and cultural sector as well as information and communication technology. Among the city’s largest companies are Deutsche Bahn, regiocom, GETEC, the university hospital and the municipal hospital of Magdeburg. Moreover, Magdeburg was chosen for a billion-euro investment by Intel. In 2023, the California-based microchip manufacturer will start building a giga-factory here, creating around 10,000 jobs.

Education

The roughly 19,000 students enrolled in Magdeburg benefit from optimal conditions: They have the choice of about 130 degree programs taught either at the Otto-von-Guericke University, whose campus is located in Magdeburg proper, and at the University of Applied Science in Magdeburg-Stendal.
